In this portrait, I tried to depict many aspects of teenage life as a girl. The black, shadowy figure is a little bit like peer pressure and how girls are mirrored to be so pretty and perfect. Although on the outside llife seems so perfect, in the inside girls have so many feelings of anger, sadness, confusion, and anxiousness, and as the figure in the front depicts, it can be very overwhelming. The center figure is the teen that eats chips and works so hard to get her hair right and face acne-free, but she can't show all that she goes thru to other people because she has to be perfect. What do you get out of it?
Technical: This is a photo for my self-portrait project. Aside from merging photos together and changing the lighting thru curves, no effects were added. A really high iso (1600) was used.
